Id like tp be known as Joun and Im staying in Putrajaya, Malaysia. I have been an aspiring artist since I was five and have been experimenting with many different art techniques since my teenage years. However, due to educational obligations, I had to limit my artistry time and concentrate on my education till I graduated in 2000. And, as many freshly out students, was eager to secure jobs, creating new social circles, experiencing the true nature of life and so on. So, my art 'career' had to be put on stall for quite some time.
Nevertheless, at every good intervals I managed to revisit this old passion of mine to create whatever form of art I felt like at the time and each time it completes, it managed to attract some interest among those who viewed it. So, now that I've settled down, got some time in my hands, Id like to share with you some of my works (though not many survived till today due to money exchange hands, if you know what I mean) to be evaluated, appreciated (I hope) and even bought.
My favourite medium has always been oil on canvass but this form requires time and my main obstacle is place to work as there's not much room in the house. So for now I have kept a simpler operations which can be picked up and drop off at any time: pen, pencil or graphite on paper :). But Ill show you another form of art which some of you might have come across: pin art. Pin art is my second favourite as not only it result in beautiful art form which interacts with lights and your imagination, this form of art really challenge my creativity and the way I put a message across. Ill talk about it more under the Pin Art section.
So, most of the arts featured in this blog can be bought to decorate your home or office wall and I believe with the power of the net, I will be able to reach art lovers from around the world and share what talent God has given me with you. Im not saying Im the 21th century Picasso or Da Vinci or even among the decade's greats but some of you might find it satisfying and quenches your thirst for a certain form of art and I really hope these pages would find you.
This is my first blog so please bear with me on the tidiness, tech savvyness and lack of attraction for the time being. I believe my email is there for you to see and do write in if any of my works interest you...thank you for your time.
